Purpose

Our purpose is to help women become strong, confident, and healthy so they can live their best life and help others do the same. We believe that when you feel good, you do good – making the world a better place. 

Mission

We’re on a mission to change the way St. Louis area women view health and fitness.

We are 175 members strong and also offer seminars, programs and events that provide educational, fun or collaborative fitness opportunities for all women – from beginners to coaches to business owners.
Giving Back

We are doing small things with great love. Dragonfly Fitness, along with Black Dog Fitness starting in 2020, is very proud to have donated more than $120,000 to local charities through fundraisers and partnerships since 2012.

 

Over the years we have supported many different organizations and have recently decided to focus on ongoing partnerships with Girls On The Run St. Louis & CARE STL (Center for Animal Rescue & Enrichment).

Girls on the Run St. Louis is an after-school program designed to inspire girls of all abilities to recognize and embrace their inner strength. Their mission aligns so well with what we do here at Dragonfly and we are so happy to support them! Learn more at www.girlsontherunstlouis.org.

 

CARE STL is the established shelter for the animals of St. Louis. It exists to create a supportive community rooted in collaboration, compassion, and caring for people and animals.Find out more about CARE at www.icarestl.org.

 

Supporting animal rescue has always been a priority for Dragonfly Owner Renah. Along with Black Dog Fitness, we are proud to have donated thousands of dollars to many local animal shelters and welfare organizations. Core Values
Keep It Simple.

We won’t try to impress you with fancy words and things that aren’t really important to you. Our training and our philosophy is simple and straightforward. Life is complicated enough.

Honesty Is The Only Policy.

It takes a strong person to be honest and do the right thing. And we expect that without exception. Sure, we’re pretty flexible — but not on this one. We can’t change our world together if we can’t be honest with one another.

Pursue Growth.

We commit to learning and growing to be the very best we can be in the industry. We recognize where we can be better even when it may be tough. We make mistakes, but we learn to solve problems. We get out of our comfort zone in order to grow. We pursue growth daily because that’s where success lives.

Change Lives.

We see each interaction as an opportunity to make a lasting difference in someone’s life. We choose our actions and words wisely. We come from a place of understanding and encouragement. We’re true to our purpose because we believe we have important work to do.

Stand Out.

We’ll do things our way. Follow our hearts. Act from our souls. We’ll be the change we want to see in the world. Maybe we aren’t like every other fitness studio after all, and we’re okay with that.

We will take responsibility for our actions, or lack thereof. We will expect others to do the same. We will make things happen. That’s always our job. Great change only occurs when we accept no excuses.

Giving is not only for the big business or the super wealthy. Giving is for everyone, whether it is giving of ourselves, our time, our knowledge, or our money. Giving is our special way of being grateful. To give is to live, and it makes life all the better.

Career Opportunities

Dragonfly Fitness is not your average women's training studio. We lift. We laugh. We get out of our comfort zones. And we give back. We are raising the bar to live our best life and raising the bar to help others do the same.

We are not currently hiring, but are always accepting resumes:

Fitness Coach
(Part-time)

Our fitness coaches are certified personal trainers who run our women’s small group strength and endurance sessions.

​

The right person will be ready to nerd out on the details of movements and be able to coach up all fitness levels.

​

We are looking for a coach who isn’t perfect, but leads by example in trying to be better every day (and who likes to have fun)!

​

Some experience is needed, and we can help you along with the rest. Must have a current personal trainer certification.

Hours vary and we do need someone who has some flexibility to work evenings or mornings, and one Saturday per month. Work up to 10 hours per week, or as little as 4 – 6. More hours available depending on schedule.

​

The right person will be cool, hard working, will have the ability to be serious and goofy all in the same minute and genuinely gets wildly excited about others’ progress… Someone who will love our members and our studio as much as we do. (That won’t be hard because we have a great group of members!)

​

We do all the marketing and enroll all of our small  group members, so there’s no sales involved with this position. There’s also no programming involved. We host in-house workshops and provide continuing education financial support. We want to help you be the best coach you can be and a superstar for our members!
