Write it down!

One of our members said to me, “Next week, I’m getting 8 push-ups in a row. I’ve been stuck at 7 and I’m just gonna do it!”. We chatted about it and she wrote it in her notes. I also ran into my office and jotted it down on a post-it and stuck it on my desk (I didn’t want to forget!).
The next week, she came in and I asked if she was ready for those push-ups. She wasn’t 100% feeling it that day to be honest. I went into my office and grabbed the post-it and stuck it to her notebook. She kinda chuckled. We both wrote it down, it was out in the universe. It had to happen, right?! Y’all. She did 9!!!! Maybe that whole manifest it/put it out into the universe/say it outloud stuff seems a little woo woo to some but I see this all the time at the gym. Next time you are close to a goal, maybe write it down, tell a friend, say it outloud and see what happens.
